Henry Lincoln at Rennes-le-Chateau
August 23th 2002
Henry
Lincoln was in Rennes le Chateau on Friday 23 August. Like Gérard de
Sède, this gentleman was a pioneer in the Rennes story. He discovered
the mystery when he read de Sède's book. He then led an investigation
and met all the treasure hunters that were around from 1969 to 1972,
when the BBC released his first film.
I
had already had the pleasure to meet and interview Henry Lincoln in
1999. THe man is still the same, although he's been suffering from
serious health trouble.
Mr
Lincoln answered the audience's questions for about two hours and made
an impression on the people present when he explained his recent
discoveries about the hills and churches geometry in the region. No
conclusions or hypothesis but mere facts. He also spoke of the damaged
some treasure hunters inflict to the countryside.
We
had agreed to have dinner together the next day, so that I could
interview him, but he had to cancel the meeting because of his bad
health. I kept the questions sent to me by net people and I will meet
Mr Lincoln again in London in late November. We have an appointment...
