Hi Everyone,

I’m quite new to the whole Templar/Rennes-le-Chateau thing, having just read the Holy Blood Holy Grail Book after I read The Da Vinci Code.
Has anyone heard of someone calling himself The tombman?
I came across his web site a couple of weeks ago.
He’s found a tomb in France, which he thinks is a Knights Templar Tomb.
It’s got a body and gold inside as well as other stuff – it looks fascinating.
I just brought an e-book off of e-bay that he has put together – the photographs of the tomb are fascinating, a lot more detailed and bigger than those he had on his web.
They are set out in a 3-D sort of way and there are two big wooden crosses by the body. Maybe its JC in there?
He’s also got some pics of, what he calls, Sauniere’s Artefacts. A Devil Stone and a glass bottle that had a message inside. The message, well half of it is also in the e-book. He apparently found them by following clues Sauniere put in his church.
I’m not sure what to make of them and was wondering if anyone knew anything about his finds. I’ll add a link to his site here so you can have a look and also a link to the e-book in case any of you want to have a look at that as well.

Whether Thetombman has found what he says he has, Sauniere's stuff, or someone else buried it for him to find – its still fascinating, to me anyway.
I can highly recommend the e-book whatever the outcome of his investigations are.

look at his e-book here -

This is tombman's web - http://www.rennesalchemist.com/thetombman/index.html

I would also appreciate any books on the Templars or Rennes-le-Chateau, or good web sites, that you can recommend – I’m really getting my teeth into this now and plan to visit Rennes-le-Chateau soon - any of you been there yet and if so what did you think?

Bye for now,

Jack S.

Hi Jack

Thanks for the website. Very interesting.

Suggest you try "The Holy Place" by Lincoln and

"Genisis: The First Book of Revelation" and "Geneset: The Second Book of Revelation" both books by David Wood.

Cheers
Don Barone

Hi there, Jack,

My instincts whisper 'hoax', but who am I to judge? :-? Call me a sceptic - an alleged find such as this undoubtedly increases book sales 8)

I've been (on and off) busy with RLC for a decade or more. My research area is (primarily) the ninth century, an era when the Razès was still an influential county and featured in authentic documents. If you are interested, you can find my postings in the French section under Bera.

For those of us with a preference for doing our research in English, there's a list of available literature here:
http://www.connectotel.com/rennes/#books

I visited RLC with my partner about 5 years ago. I was in a state of 'great esoteric expectation' as a result of 5 years research, and my partner was content to drink coffee and read his Financial Times! It was a hot July day and after a couple of hours seeing what there was to see (me) we had a delicious lunch at Les Pommes Bleus! What more can I say? The church is decidedly kitsch and the exhibition in Saunière's house is tacky and singularly uninspiring. However, if you manage to go beyond all the 20th century nonsense and hype, there is, I believe, something special about the location of RLC itself. My intuitive faculty homed in on some kind of power source - or to be more specific - I sensed that RLC is an ancient sacred location connected to a greater web of power. A bit like a beacon on a hilltop receiving and transmitting signals from elsewhere. If you have an ounce of Celtic blood in you then it will probably tingle and get charged if you visit RLC

Happy hunting!

Margi
