This has already been discussed. Ones wealth is determined by the combination of all their assets, not just cash on-hand. Whether you are wealthy or "rich" is a relative matter comparing ones total assets with those of other people in the time and area where they live. Lots of times the person owning the biggest house in the neighbor is labeled " rich", but if the same house was built in a different community, where all the house were much larger, the owners may be considered poor.

Well, enjoyable as it has been arguing with Mark H over whether it was the same person in both photos, it really doesn't matter since it isn't even Sauniere. It is some otherwise unknown Bishop named John something or other (it's on Smith's website). So that little exchange was pretty much aomplete waste of time and effort. I'm sure Bishop John is snickering in his grave about it though.

excuse me, but what sort of treasure do you think you will find? This is not a boyscout treasure hunt. There is no Priory gold buried under a bloody "X". The "treasure" of the Priory of Sion, who were an off shoot of the organization known as the Knights Templar are in fact, rather than things of monetary value, genealogies of the heir of Christ and the lost books and documents of the Sacred feminine, which is evident in the shape of the Pentagram. The Priory may not even have their "treasure" there, this may just be a symbolic yet remarkable tribute to the Sacred feminine, Mary Magdalene.
