Not quite accurate. There is plenty of evidence, but unfortunately none of it conclusive. The veracity of much of what does exist is uncertain, since various parties have vested interests in maintaining the status quo, or in undermining it, as the case may be.
I mentioned Masada above - you should look into what was found in Cave 2001 there, and the way it was handled.
The story of Christ's life as laid out in the Canonical Gospels is at odds with Jewish tradition, as well as being at odds with many of the Coptic and Gnostic Gospels (though the most contentious of these seem to have conveniently vanished into the mists of time). It is always worth bearing in mind that the New Testement only chronicles about ten years over a span of thirty-three.
Also, I have read somewhere the Quran contains references to Jesus living well into his seventies and raising children, though I'm open to correction on this, since I have not personally read the Quran. It certainly states that he did not die on the cross.
